Her abilities include vocals, keys, acoustic, and bass guitars, as well as experience as a sound engineer. Her educational experience offers an additional layer of bringing encouragement and organization to teams.
Melody believes that all people were created by God to worship, whether that be through music or any act of service as worship. She is passionate that believers bring the highest praise, the purest surrender, and the most reverent worship to our most Holy God. She believes that our worship services should focus on the work done on the cross, as well as allowing the Holy Spirit to move as He wishes during the service. She communicates that the worship team must be held to high standards and understand the responsibility found in leading the congregation in worship. Her favorite verse is Psalm 27:4, “One thing I have asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.”
